Product detailed description

SABRE SYSTEMS XWB

SABRE SYSTEMS XWB modular kydex holster for CZ P10C pistol for outside belt carry (OWB), Inside the Waistband carry (IWB), appendix carry (AIWB) or appendix carry with magazine (AIWB+).

One holster - four ways to carry it! By simply changing the holster attachment components, you can change the holster from an OWB to an IWB one, or to an appendix with hooks, or to an appendix with magazine. You can choose the attachment methods directly when choosing the product, or you can purchase them separately over time. Do you prefer concealed inside waist band carry, but from time to time you go to a shooting course, where it is better for you to have a holster on the outside of the belt? Or do you carry it on your belt in winter and inside in summer? That's not a problem with this holster. That's why it's called XWB - it's OWB, IWB and AIWB in one.

XWB options

Ergonomics of the holster

The entire clip module of the holster is canted 7.5 degrees, which together with the “BELT PRESS” relief under the trigger guard — which from the inside rests against the belt — helps reduce unwanted printing of the weapon under clothing. On the back of the holster there is a removable WEDGE — a pressure wedge that again helps reduce unwanted printing by pushing the top portion of your firearm closer to the body. Some users won’t do without it, others hate it. That’s why it is removable and available in two sizes — 12 mm and 16 mm. The holster ships standard with the larger wedge so you can try both extremes — either no wedge at all or with the large WEDGE; the smaller wedge can be ordered separately. The WEDGE works well in all holster configurations — not only during inside-the-waistband or appendix carry, but also when carrying outside the waistband.

Inside waist band carry (IWB)

In the classic IWB configuration for concealed inside-the-waistband carry, all the same mounts we use on our IWB holsters can be attached. That means polymer FOMI clips or premium steel Monoblock clips for belts 1.5" (40 mm) or 1.75" (45 mm) wide, with an option for cant (0° or approx. 20° forward). Or it is possible to use UltiTuck or loops Soft Loops

Appendix carry (AIWB)

For appendix carry (AIWB) there are TACWARE hooks available (with five holes for full-size and compact pistols, two holes for subcompacts), or steel AIWB hooks. The holster features a five-hole mounting pattern for the hooks, so you can adjust the carry depth of the pistol. The hooks are universal for belts up to 1,5" (46 mm) wide, but they also work well with 1.5" (38 mm) belts. Both hooks allow tuckable carry — tucking a shirt or T-shirt between the holster and the hooks.

Appendix holster configuration (AIWB+) can be configured with a MAGWING for magazine carrying. The MAGWING uses the MRD (Magazine Retention Device) system, which allows it to be adapted to any magazine, just like our magazine holsters MAG MRD.  That means if you have two XWB holsters for two different pistols, you can use a single MAGWING between them as needed. It accepts magazines from Glock 43 and 43X, through standard double-stack magazines such as Glock 19 in 9mm and .40 S&W, magazines for SIG P365, and all common steel double-stack mags from CZ75 up to P10 (even in .45 AUTO), Walther PDP, SIG P320 and others — every MAGWING handles these. The MAGWING is attached to the holster with a CONNECTOR made of a highly durable yet flexible CURV® material — similar to Tegris. This ensures high durability and flexible bending between the holster and the MAGWING without unwanted torsion that would cause the magazine to bend away from the holster forward or backward.

Both the CONNECTOR and the hole matrices on the MAGWING and the holster have five holes, so you can adjust the vertical position of both parts. The connector has three rows of holes: using the outer rows connects the holster and MAGWING in a straight line; using the inner rows causes the two spines to butt together and form an arched shape that better follows the body and reduces printing. This is the recommended assembly option. The appendix variant also includes a PRESSWING pressure claw. This is supplied with the AIWB and AIWB+ configurations at no extra charge.

Outside waist band carry (OWB)

The OWB configuration for OWB carry on the belt then offers a choice of three mounting variants.

We standardly use Infinity Loops made of almost indestructible polymer Tufmax 820, their middle part is flexible (it can be easily bent to a right angle) and the loops thus adapt to the shape of your waist. Offers a wide range of positions - if you mount the upper loop facing upwards and the lower loop facing downwards, you will get an ergonomic tilt of the firearm approx. 10° forward. If you mount them upside down, you get a negative slope of 10°. If you mount them both in the same direction upwards, you have the holster straight, without an inclination, sitting lower on the belt, if you mount them in the opposite direction, you will have it higher again. For even more precise tuning, it is possible to use the holes in the through-holes "one by one" and choose the corresponding position according to the mounting holes of the holster. From the factory, we install the loops in a position with a forward tilt.  These come in two sizes based on belt width - 1.5" (40mm) and 1.75" (44.4mm).

OWB positions and angles infinity loops

Infinity Loops can be replaced with universal TACWARE belt loops that work with belts from 1.5" (38mm) to 2" (50mm) wide. The holster is equipped with a matrix of holes that allows you to position the height of the holster - you simply choose which holes to use. TACWARE loops do not extend beyond the holster profile.

On our outer (OWB) and modular (XWB) holsters it offers a wide variety of positions by mounting in the holes that our holsters are equipped with. It is possible to position the holster in height, higher for better concealed carry, lower for a more comfortable and faster draw, as well as a slight inclination of the holster by placing one strap higher and the other lower.

XWB OWB OPTIONS_2

Like all SABRE SYSTEMS kydex holsters, this holster is compatible with both standard and enlarged controls such as the bolt catch and magazine release button. All of our holsters are Red Dot-ready from the start, regardless of whether the gun comes factory-equipped with Red Dot preparation or you've had it retrofitted. Compatibility with high sights is also a matter of course.

The holster has an adjustable retention and a prominent retention point. The pistol goes into the holster smoothly, has minimized friction surfaces, especially on the sides of the bolt, there is little play, which helps to save the finish of the firearm, and locks firmly only after the firearm is fully inserted with a clear and noticeable "click" behind the trigger (in the holster of a holster without a flashlight). When drawing after overcoming the retention point, the gun leaves the holster completely smoothly again. The screws with rubber bands on the trigger edge of the holster are used for tuning the retention.

The holster is designed as open in the lower part, which allows dirt to fall freely, such as sand during intensive activities, in an emergency it will also fit a longer firearm model (e.g. Glock 17 in a holster for Glock 19), while the overhanging part of the firearm will protrude from the holster. holsters for Subcompact pistols are closed at the bottom.

The holster has a full sweatguard. It can be shortened on request.

The holster is intended only for the given model of firearm, or a combination of firearm and flashlight. A different model of gun or light gun will not fit in the holster or will not be adequately secured.

When using, observe the safety rules for handling the firearm. Prevent loose parts of clothing or equipment from entering the holster when inserting firearm. Catching them between the holster and the trigger can lead to an unwanted shot and endanger life.

If dirty, wash the holster from the inside and outside with a stream of running water and dry with a cloth. Do not use solvents or aggressive cleaning agents.

Do not expose the holster to temperatures higher than 60 °C. Before each use of the holster, check that all screws are tight and ensure that there are no obstacles or foreign objects inside the holster.
