One holster, four ways to carry. By simply swapping the mounting components, you can turn this holster from outside-the-waistband (OWB) to inside-the-waistband (IWB), to appendix carry with hooks (AIWB), or to appendix carry with a magazine (AIWB+). You choose your mounting option right when ordering, or add more later as separate purchases. Prefer concealed inside-the-waistband carry, but occasionally head to a training course where it's better to carry outside the waistband? Or carry on the belt in winter and inside the waistband in summer? With this holster, that's not a problem — which is exactly why it's called XWB: it's OWB, IWB, and AIWB all in one. That said, XWB is primarily developed as an appendix (AIWB) holster with a magazine carrier, and that's the configuration where it offers the most.

Holster Ergonomics

• The entire clip module is offset by 7.5°, which — together with the BELT PRESS ridge under the trigger guard (it presses against the belt from the inside) — helps reduce unwanted printing of the firearm under clothing.
• On the back of the holster is a removable WEDGE — a pressure wedge that further reduces printing by pushing the upper part of the holster closer to your body. It's available in two sizes, 12 mm and 16 mm; the larger one ships installed by default, so you can try both extremes (no WEDGE at all, or the large WEDGE). The smaller size can be ordered separately.
• The WEDGE works in every configuration of the holster — inside-the- waistband carry on the side or on the appendix, as well as outside-the-waistband carry.

Inside-the-Waistband Carry (IWB)

In the classic IWB configuration for inside-the-waistband carry, the holster accepts every mounting option available for our IWB holsters:

• the polymer FOMI clip, or our premium steel Monoblock clip, for belts 1.5" (40 mm) or 1.75" (45 mm) wide, with a choice of cant (0° or roughly 20° forward);
• or the UltiTuck, or Soft Loops.

Appendix Carry (AIWB)

For appendix (AIWB) carry, you can use TACWARE hooks (five holes for standard and compact pistols, two holes for subcompacts), or our steel AIWB hooks. The holster has a five-hole screw pattern for the hooks, letting you adjust the pistol's carry depth. The hooks are universal for belts up to 46 mm wide, but work great with 1.5" (38 mm) belts too. Both hook types allow "tuckable" carry — tucking your shirt between the holster and the hooks.

The appendix configuration (AIWB+) can be extended with a MAGWING for carrying a spare magazine. The MAGWING uses the same MRD (Magazine Retention Device) system as our MAG MRD magazine holster, which adapts it to virtually any magazine. If you own two XWB holsters for two different firearms, you can use a single MAGWING with both, as needed. The MAGWING accommodates:

• magazines starting from Glock 43 and 43X size,
• standard double-stack magazines such as the Glock 19 in 9mm and .40 S&W,
• SIG P365 magazines,
• all common steel double-stack magazines from the CZ 75 up through the P10 (including .45 AUTO), Walther PDP, SIG P320, and more.

The MAGWING attaches to the holster via a CONNECTOR made from CURV®, a highly durable yet flexible material (similar to Tegris), which provides lasting durability and flex between the holster and the MAGWING without unwanted torsion (the magazine doesn't twist away from the holster, forward or backward).

The CONNECTOR and the hole patterns on both the MAGWING and the holster each have five holes, so you can adjust the height of both pieces. The CONNECTOR has three rows of holes:

• the outer rows — the holster and MAGWING connect in a straight line;
• the inner rows — the holster and MAGWING lean back-to-back into an arc shape that follows your body more closely and reduces printing (our recommended setup).

The appendix setup can also be fitted with the PRESSWING pressure claw, which is included at no extra cost with the AIWB and AIWB+ configuration — do not use the PRESSWING in any configuration other than AIWB/AIWB+.

Outside-the-Waistband Carry (OWB)

The OWB configuration for outside-the-waistband belt carry offers a choice of the following loop options.

Our standard Infinity Loops are made from a nearly indestructible Tufmax 820 polymer — their center section is flexible (it can be bent to a full right angle), letting the loops conform to your waist. They offer a wide range of positions:

• Rear loop facing up + bottom loop facing down → an ergonomic ~10° forward cant (factory-installed configuration).
• Rear loop facing down + bottom loop facing up → a ~10° negative cant.
• Both loops facing up → a level holster with no cant, sitting lower on the belt.
• Both loops facing down → a level holster with no cant, sitting higher on the belt.

For even finer adjustment, you can use every other hole in the loops and match it to the corresponding mounting hole on the holster. Factory-installed, the loops are mounted for a forward cant. They come in two sizes based on belt width — 1.5" (38 mm) and 1.75" (44.4 mm).

Infinity Loops belt loops shape themselves to your waist over time, but you can also shape them right away. Simply bend the loops to follow your waist's contour — there's no need to worry, they won't break; you can bend them almost 180°, pressing them flat against the inside of the holster.

Infinity Loops can be replaced with universal TACWARE belt loops, which work with belts from 1.5" (38 mm) up to 2" (50 mm) wide. The holster's hole pattern lets you adjust its height — simply choose which holes to use. TACWARE loops don't extend beyond the holster's profile.

Compatibility

• If the Parameters section below lists the construction as open-bottom, the holster is open at the bottom — in an emergency, a longer model from the same family will still fit (e.g. a longer Glock 17 in a holster made for the shorter Glock 19), with the extra length protruding from the holster. If the construction is closed-bottom, the holster closes behind the slide, and a firearm longer than the one it's configured for (e.g. fitted with a compensator or a longer barrel) will not seat fully — the holster must not be used with such a firearm, since it won't be properly retained and the trigger won't be fully covered.
• NOTE: this holster is designed for the specified firearm model only, or for the specified firearm-plus-weapon-light combination. A different firearm model, or the firearm fitted with a light, will not fit the holster, or will not be adequately retained in it.

Adjusting Retention

1. Adjust the holster's cant and retention screws as needed.
2. Fine-tune retention with the screws beneath the trigger guard — in the OWB configuration, these are also where the bottom belt loop is mounted.
3. Once cant and retention are set, secure the screws against loosening with a suitable thread-locking compound (e.g. Loctite).

Maintenance & Safety

• Safety warning: always follow safe firearm handling practices. Keep loose clothing or gear away from the holster while reholstering. If caught between the holster and the trigger, it can cause an unintentional discharge and endanger life.
• If dirty, rinse the holster inside and out with running water and dry with a cloth. Do not use solvents or harsh cleaning agents.
• Do not expose the holster to temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F).
• Before each use, check that all screws are tight and make sure there's no obstruction or foreign object inside the holster.
