SABRE SYSTEMS IWB CZ P07 and P09 C NOCTURNE - Inside the Waistband kydex holster

The SABRE SYSTEMS IWB line is designed primarily for everyday concealed carry (EDC) inside the waistband, where a low profile, comfort, and fast access to the firearm are the priorities. That's why SABRE SYSTEMS IWB holsters feature a full sweatguard, protecting the body and clothing from contact with the firearm throughout the day, and offer two mounting options to suit different carry positions, including AIWB (not available on some subcompacts). For appendix carry specifically, however, we recommend our XWB line, which is purpose-built for appendix carry and includes specific design features for it.

Features

• Compatible with standard and extended controls, such as the slide stop and magazine release button.
• Cut for a red dot sight from the ground up, whether the firearm came optics-ready from the factory or was milled/adapted afterward. Also compatible with tall (suppressor-height) sights.
• Full sweatguard (on all our IWB holsters).
• Adjustable retention screws and a pronounced retention point. Minimal friction surfaces, especially along the sides of the slide, which helps protect the firearm's finish. The pistol locks in with a clear, audible "click" behind the trigger guard once fully seated (on models without a weapon light), and draws back out just as smoothly once the retention point is overcome.
• We manufacture this holster in separate right-hand and left-hand versions.
• Usually ships within 7 days or sooner.

Mounting Options

SABRE SYSTEMS IWB holsters offer two mounting options:

• Classic clip — cutouts on the upper part of the holster, spaced 22.2 mm apart, with two cant options (0° or roughly 20° forward). These work with UltiTuck or Soft Loops, which we consider the best and most reliable option.
• IWB hooks — cutouts above the slide on the outside of the holster; the second hook attaches to spacer washers over the retention screws (longer screws required). Best suited for AIWB (appendix) carry (not available on some subcompacts, where these hook cutouts are omitted to keep the holster as compact as possible).

We deliberately don't offer a lengthwise UltiClip cutout — it increases the holster's profile, and with UltiTuck now available, we feel it has lost its purpose.

Compatibility

• If the Parameters section below lists the construction as open-bottom, the holster is open at the bottom — in an emergency, a longer model from the same family will still fit (e.g. a longer Glock 17 in a holster made for the shorter Glock 19), with the extra length protruding from the holster. If the construction is closed-bottom, the holster closes behind the slide, and a firearm longer than the one it's configured for (e.g. fitted with a compensator or a longer barrel) will not seat fully — the holster must not be used with such a firearm, since it won't be properly retained and the trigger won't be fully covered.
• NOTE: this holster is designed for the specified firearm model only, or for the specified firearm-plus-weapon-light combination. A different firearm model, or the firearm fitted with a light, will not fit the holster, or will not be adequately retained in it.

Adjusting Retention

1. Adjust the holster's cant and retention screws as needed.
2. On firearms without a weapon light, fine-tune retention with the first screw in front of the trigger guard. On a firearm with a weapon light, the retention point and lock sit on the light's body, depending on its type and model.
3. Once cant and retention are set, secure the screws against loosening with a suitable thread-locking compound (e.g. Loctite).

Maintenance & Safety

• Safety warning: always follow safe firearm handling practices. Keep loose clothing or gear away from the holster while reholstering. If caught between the holster and the trigger, it can cause an unintentional discharge and endanger life.
• If dirty, rinse the holster inside and out with running water and dry with a cloth. Do not use solvents or harsh cleaning agents.
• Do not expose the holster to temperatures above 60 °C (140 °F).
• Before each use, check that all screws are tight and make sure there's no obstruction or foreign object inside the holster.
